The training model
Our snow sports instructors teach according to the guidelines of the Swiss Snow League and are trained in accordance with the national training model of the Swiss Snowsports Schools. They create effective learning situations for children of all ages and promote learning progress in a targeted manner.
Learning objectives for your learning success
The learning objectives of the various levels, which build on one another – from beginner to pro – are set by the Swiss Ski School. At the Lenk ski resort, we implement these standards and ensure that your child's learning success is guaranteed throughout Switzerland, no matter where your next holiday takes you.
Swiss Snow League Booklet, your personal ID card
Your learning progress is recorded in the Swiss Snow League Booklet, which is valid at all Swiss Ski and Snowboard Schools. This ensures that your child receives optimum support and encouragement. The snow sports instructor decides whether your child is ready for the next level and notes this in the booklet – no need for tests or grades.
Swiss Snow League medal, the badge of success
Your child's commitment is rewarded! After completing each level, your child receives a Swiss Snow League medal. This is presented on Fridays after every 5 half days attended.
Classification into the correct teaching level
Just like the pistes, the Swiss Snow League is divided into three levels of difficulty: Blue, Red and Black. Within these categories, we have Prince/Princess, King/Queen and Star. As soon as your child meets the learning objectives for the current level, they're ready for the next level.
Red League Ski
In the Red League, your child learns the foundations of jumping and how to safely and dynamically make parallel turns on intermediate pistes.
Black League Ski
In the Black League, you learn how to ski safely and dynamically on all pistes as well as how to make parallel turns in unprepared snow.
Swiss Snow Academy Ski
Swiss Snow Academy Ski is characterised by unlimited skiing on and off the piste, in the snow park and between the gates.
Blue League Snowboard, from 8 years onwards
In the Blue League, your child learns how to safely ride easy pistes and the park as well as how to make their first turns and tricks.
Red League Snowboard
Your child learns how to ski safely and dynamically on the slopes and in the snow park.
Swiss Snow Academy Snowboard
What defines Swiss Snow Academy Snowboard is turns, tricks and airs on and off the piste, in the snow park and on the pipe.
